Memory Support
Our experienced teams provide personalised care based on each resident’s individual needs, routines and preferences. This includes supporting residents who may experience changes in memory or cognition, where their needs can be safely and appropriately met within the residence.
Respite Care
We understand the importance of carers having the opportunity to take a break from time to time. We offer respite to provide the support you need and make the transition as smooth and pain-free as possible. We’ll help you relax and give you comfort in knowing the person you care for is being well looked after.
Wellbeing & Leisure
We offer a wide range of lifestyle and community activities tailored to each resident through person-centred care. These include regular bus trips and outings to local destinations, visits to community centres such as the Men’s Shed, and a variety of special events.
Within our residences, we create meaningful connections through intergenerational programs that bring the community into our homes. Residents can enjoy live entertainment, music therapy, visiting art therapists, pet therapy, and immersive experiences through virtual reality — offering opportunities to explore familiar places, revisit memories, or experience something new.
Our approach is holistic, supporting not only physical wellbeing but also social connection, purpose and enjoyment in everyday life. We also have an active volunteer program and encourage families and community members to remain closely involved.
Allied Health Services
The Aequra Allied Health Team plays an important role in supporting each resident’s overall health, mobility and wellbeing.
Our residents have access to a range of specialists, including geriatricians, psycho-geriatricians, nurse practitioners and other visiting medical professionals.
Our physiotherapist is available Monday to Friday, supported by a daily exercise program focused on strength, mobility and maintaining independence. Additional services include massage therapy as required, along with access to dietitians, speech pathologists and occupational therapists.
This integrated approach ensures residents receive well-rounded, personalised support that adapts to their individual needs.
