What is Support At Home?
The Support at Home program is an Australian Government aged care program designed to help older people remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes for longer.
The program was introduced in November 2025, replacing the previous Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care programs.
This reinvigorated program brings services together into one simpler system, making it easier to access the support, equipment, and home modifications that older Australians increasingly need.
Support at Home is suitable if you need a coordinated approach to care, particularly if you require help with multiple daily tasks or have more complex care needs.
